Daniel O’Donnell has this week announced a series of Irish dates for some special Christmas shows.

The Donegal singing star is treating his home fans this December with concerts in Derry, Belfast, Castlebar and Killarney.

Daniel will bring his ‘Christmas and More’ show to the stage for the first time, reports RSVP Live.

Fans in the northwest will be flocking to the Millenium Forum in Derry to enjoy the festive show. Daniel will return to the Forum stage on December 19th.

Daniel will also perform in the INEC Killarney on Friday, 14th December, the TF Theatre in Castlebar on the 15th and the Waterfront in Belfast on the 18th.

After more than thirty years in the spotlight as an engaging entertainer, Daniel is still in love with performing and with audiences the world over. Fans can look forward to hearing Daniel sing all the Christmas classics alongside special guest Mary Duff.

The next big date on Daniel’s calendar is August 25th, when he will perform for Pope Francis in front of thousands in Croke Park.

Singing at the Festival of Families is set to be a big honour for the Kincasslagh man:

Daniel said: “I remember seeing Pope John Paul 11 in Galway when he came to Ireland and it remains one of the highlights of my life.

“I would not have believed back then that one day I would get to sing for a Pope in Croke Park.”
