Magees move into second round at World Championships in China

Sam and Chloe Magee advanced to the second round of the 2018 BWF World Championships this morning.

The Raphoe brother-sister duo defeated Norwegian pair Fredrik Kristensen and Solvar Flaten Jørgensen in the opening round.

The Magees took victory 21-13 21-8 in 29 minutes at the Olympic Sports Centre in Nanjing, China.

They will face 14th seeds Chi-Lin Wang and Chia Hsin Lee from Taiwan in the second round tomorrow.
