K2 conquerer Jason Black is set to return to Ireland tomorrow night.

After more than six weeks on an expedition to climb the world’s most difficult peak, Jason is set to see his family once again.

He is due to arrive at Dublin Airport tomorrow night (Wed).

A special homecoming has been arranged for Jason at the Market Square in Letterkenny on Thursday evening at 6.30pm.

This will be immediately followed by tea/coffee etc. in Mc Gettigan’s Hotel, Upper Main Street.

Jason’s family would like to take this opportunity to thank each and every one of you for following his epic journey and for all the prayers, candle-lighting and positive messages that were sent his way over the past 6 weeks.

A spokesman for Jason’s family said “We are very grateful and beyond excited now to see him TOMORROW!!

“We would love to see you at the homecoming so please feel free to come along and show your support once again.”
