Tyrone name unchanged team to face Donegal

The Tyrone manager, Mickey Harte, has named an unchanged XV for Sunday’s Super 8 game against Donegal in Ballybofey.

Ronan McNamee, an injury doubt, has been named at full-back but it remains to be seen if the Aghyaran man will be able to take up the post.

McNamee picked up an injury in Tyrone’s defeat to Dublin a fortnight ago in Omagh. He remains in a race against the clock, but has been included in the team released by the Red Hands.

Harte has stuck with the side that pushed Dublin all the way only to lose out by three points.

A win or a draw will see Tyrone advance to an All-Ireland semi-final. For Donegal, it’s simple – Declan Bonner’s men have to win to go through.

Tyrone (SFC v Donegal): Niall Morgan; Michael McKernan, Ronan McNamee, Hugh Pat McGeary; Tiernan McCann, Frank Burns, Peter Harte; Colm Cavanagh, Padraig Hampsey; Mattie Donnelly, Niall Sludden, Conor Meyler; Cathal McShane, Richard Donnelly, Connor McAliskey.
