Gardai set up a number of high-profile checkpoints along the border with Derry over the weekend.
The checkpoints were set up in conjunction with their PSNI counterparts in Derry.
Members of the Garda armed support unit took part in some of the checkpoints including the one pictured on the N13 at Bridgend.
The checkpoints come following a surge in cross-border crime in recent weeks.
