The 2018 Gartan Swim Challenge took place on Saturday outside Letterkenny, County Donegal.

Three events took place in Donegal – the 500m swim for novice and junior swimmers, the 1km Around the Bay and 3.5k Around the Islands.

Here is a taste of how the swim went – in pictures!
