Keith Cowan marks big Finn Harps milestone with memorable goal

Keith Cowan marked a significant milestone in his career with a stunning goal to keep Finn Harps’ promotion bid on track.

Cowan tonight became the 21st player to play 200 games for Harps and his wonderful volley put the tin hat on a 3-1 away win over Athlone Town.

Cowan’s cracker followed a brace from Nathan Boyle as Ollie Horgan’s Harps came from behind to win and extend their unbeaten run to eight games.

Cowan made his Harps senior debut as far back as 2005 and has battled back from three serious knee injuries to maintain his senior career, though he had a brief spell back at his native Swilly Rovers in between.
