Donegal jockey Martin Harley had a 16/1 double today for trainer David O’Meara in Wolverhampton.

Harley had wins aboard the 5/1 Macho Lady and the 15/8 Laubali to return the Trentagh man to winning ways.

In the 2.10 race, Harley won by a length on the two-year-old Macho Lady from 7/2 shot Mircronize, with Oakley Brown in the saddle.

He followed that with a win by just a nose on the 15/8 Laubali at 2.45. Harley and Laubali overhauled Brandy Station and the even-money favourite Three Little Birds.

The wins, his first in around three weeks, move Harley onto 59 wins in what has been a fine 2018.
