Appeal after kayaks stolen in West Donegal

Three kayaks with paddles and lifejackets were stolen in the last number of days from the Derrynamansher/Crolly area.

This is a very quiet remote beautiful area of west Donegal.

These kayaks were privately owned but were open to anybody in the community to use free of charge any time.

Local county councillor Micheal Mac Giolla Easbuig said “It’s very disappointing that somebody would steal from our community.

“If anybody has been offered these kayaks for sale I would ask them not to buy them, and I would also speak directly to those who were involved in stealing the kayaks please return them and do the right thing by our community.
