Since 2017, Jackson’s Hotel in Ballybofey has been owned and managed by the Gallen family, the same family behind the award winning Villa Rose Hotel & Spa. Rhonda Gillespie and her wedding team have applied their successful wedding format to the newly refurbished Jackson’s Hotel, the result has been an increase in wedding bookings of over 70% in the past 12 months.
To celebrate, the hotel group are giving one lucky couple the chance to win the ultimate wedding experience with two stunning reception venues to choose from. The Wedding Prize consists of a bespoke wedding reception for up to 120 guests.
How To Enter
To be in with the chance of winning, couples must simply choose and book their wedding date and pay the booking deposit for either Villa Rose Hotel or Jackson’s Hotel before the end of 2018.

The Terms & Conditions
- Competition opens August 2018.
- Entries will be confirmed upon full payment of the €1000 wedding booking deposit.
- All deposits are non-refundable with the exception of the winning couple who will be fully refunded their booking deposit.
- The winning couple will be drawn at random and this process will be audited by an independent adjudicator.
- The winning couple can choose either The Villa Rose Hotel or Jackson’s Hotel as their reception venue.
- The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged in whole or in part for cash.
- The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- By entering this competition the participant accepts the full terms, conditions and rules of this competition and agrees to abide by these rules and any requirements and/or proceedings issued by The Villa Rose & Jackson’s Hotels in regard to the competition.
- If and when necessary, winners must make themselves available for photographs and other public relations related appearances.
- The prize consists of a wedding package for up to 120 guests, any guest above this number will be charged at the standard rate.
- Any extras requested will be chargeable at the standard rates.
- Employees of Gallen Hospitality, group companies or their family members are not permitted to enter the competition.
