Donegal Town’s Number One restaurant has won another accolade from the world’s largest travel review site, TripAdvisor.

Chandpur Indian Restaurant has received their fifth Five Star Certificate of Excellence. The achievement has now earned the restaurant a notable place on the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame.

The team are over the moon with this latest award. Co-owner Susan Miah said: “We are just so proud to have been able to maintain 5 years of 5 stars and have been the number one restaurant in Donegal Town on TripAdvisor for 5 years too.

“Because of this achievement we have been awarded a Hall of Fame Certificate. This unique accolade is awarded to businesses who have achieved the Certificate of Excellence for 5 years.”

Chandpur Hall of Fame Award

Chandpur is a go-to spot for all curry lovers and fans of authentic Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine. The walls are packed with certificates from many years of winning awards, including Best Indian Restaurant in Ulster and All Ireland, Best Asian Restaurant in Ulster, Best Chef in Ulster and Best Chef in the Irish Curry Awards.

Locals, visitors and celebrities alike enjoy the extensive menu at Chandpur, while the warm welcome from Susan and Rana Miah and the team is a popular reason why diners give them a five star TripAdvisor rating.
