The people of Donegal are on a real winning streak this summer after another National Lottery prize was collected this week.
A ticket sold in the SuperValu store at St. Catherine’s Filling Station in Killybegs has won a cool €69,018 prize which was claimed on Friday.
The lucky Lotto player from ‘the north of the country’ entered the draw on 28th July 2018, but only realised his fortune this week when he used his National Lottery App to scan some old tickets.
The National Lottery winners’ room was a hive of activity on Friday afternoon as six separate winners collected a combined €914,023 in prizes.
The biggest winner of the day was an online player from Co. Offaly who collected his massive €500,000 Lotto Plus 1 prize which he won on Wednesday 15th August.
Most recently in Donegal, a Letterkenny family celebrated winning a EuroMillions Plus prize of €500,000 from a ticket bought at the Oldtown Stores.
Also this month, a Donegal man won half a million euro after buying his lucky ticket at McGettigan’s Applegreen Service Station, in Lifford, Co. Donegal.
