Francie Martin felt it was a case of Glenfin’s need being greater as his Bundoran fell to a surprise defeat at Pairc Tabhoige last night.

Bundoran’s fingers were removed from the Division 2 crown with MacCumhaills now in the driving seat to win the title.

Last night, Glenfin – who are battling for survival in the Division – overcame Bundoran 2-12 to 1-11.

“They were up for the game and were traveling at good speed,” Glenfin native and Bundoran boss Martin said.

“They had momentum going into the game and they wanted it more than us. Our boys were walking into trouble, but fair play to Glenfin, they’re a good team when they’re up for it like that.”
