A concerned member of the public is hoping to identify the owner of two dogs before she returns to London tomorrow.
The dogs were found yesterday outside Lifford in the main Letterkenny to Lifford road.
Niamh Tolan found the two chasing the other and at risk of being killed on the road.
Niamh tried all the local houses and no one recognised the dogs.
The dogs were found together but it is unknown whether they come from the same home.
