Residents up in arms after being left without water again

Residents in a Letterkenny housing estate are up in arms after once again being left without water.

Householders in Gort na Greine have been without water since Thursday.

Local county councillor Gerry Mc Monagle said this situation has been ongoing for the past ten years.

He has asked Donegal County Council to put in temporary water supply measures for the moment.

However, the Sinn Fein councillor says he will be bringing a motion before the council calling them to address the situation once and for all.

“These residents have suffered for long enough and they have once again been left without water since last Thursday.

“This matter will have to be addressed once and for all,” he said.
