Church Hill Park Project receives generous donation of work

Church Hill Park benefited from a recent “dig out” from Eamon Moy Agricultural Contractors.

The project is steaming ahead thanks to the hard work of the Moy contractors, appointed to prepare the park elements of the project. However, the brothers also offered to prepare the playground site for free to the delight of the Community
Development Group.

Chairman of  Victor Wilkin said the help of the contractors saved the community ‘vital and substantial funds’.

He said: “Once again we are overwhelmed with the generosity of a local business. The contribution made by the Moys has saved us vital and substantial funds that can now be used elsewhere. We will be able to landscape the
park to a high standard now which will benefit not only the users but the wildlife too!”

Work on the park began on July 24 and will provide a playground, walking track, outdoor gym, car park and community garden. It has been designed to be inclusive for all ages and will act as a focus for community development and events into the future. Donations towards the park will be gratefully received.
