Ciaran Coll says he is ‘over the moon’ to be staging a testimonial as his tenth season as a Finn Harps player draws to an end.
Harps are still in contention for promotion back to the Premier Division and are guaranteed a play-off spot.
Coll has made 265 appearances for Harps since making his debut in 2009 as a 17-year-old and will now celebrate his testimonial.
“I’m over the moon,” said Coll, a boyhood Harps fan.
“Finn Harps have been incredible for me.
“Me and dad used to go to Harps games. Jonathan Minnock was playing there and I just wanted to follow his footsteps and play for Harps. I want to keep going as long as I can. Hopefully there could be another ten years there! I’ll keep going for as long as I can.”
Two events have been confirmed to mark Coll’s big milestone.
First, on Friday, September 28, a Golf Classic will be held at Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club. Each four-ball team entry costs €100 and will include a food voucher for each playing member of a team.

A timesheet is in operation and entries can be made by contacting Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club on 074-9131093.
On Saturday, November 10, a Gala Dinner will be hosted in the Radisson Blu Hotel in Letterkenny. Tickets will be priced at €40 each. Further details on the Gala Dinner will be released in due course.
The Ciaran Coll Testimonial Committee will also be partnering with local charities, that will be announced in the coming days.
