Gardai do not now believe the death of a man in Portnablagh yesterday was suspicious.

The man, who was 84, was found dead at his home at Faugher by his niece yesterday morning at 8am.

The house was sealed off and a Garda investigation was launched.

However, Gardai have now stated that they do not believe the man’s death was suspicious.

The man was last seen by relatives who called to his home on Saturday evening.

It is understood the man had been released from Letterkenny University Hospital on Friday.
