Super ‘keeper Hannah Gallagher saved two and scored one in a sudden death shoot-out to secure the Ulster Cup for Mulroy Academy Under-12s.

In the nail-biting shoot-out, Gallagher was the hero of the hour to secure a dream treble for the Mulroy girls as they defeated Buncrana Hearts at Orchard Park.

Gallagher had already saved two penalties when she stepped forward to score the winning penalty leaving the final score 5-4 to the Mulroy girls.

In a hard fought contest, that ended in stalemate after extra time, the Mulroy girls were delighted to secure the win and add the Ulster Cup to their rapidly growing silverware collection which sees them as League winners and League Cup winners.

Mulroy have remained unbeaten all season.

Next Sunday sees the girls travel to the Showgrounds in Sligo for the FAI Northwest regional finals.
