Letterkenny Athletic Club runners were to the fore in Sunday’s very well organised Mulroy College Milford 10K.

Michael Galvin was the first Letterkenny AC runner across the line in Tuesday’s Loreto Convent 5K in Letterkenny.

His time of 19.40 gave him second place overall and first place in the M40 category.

Margaret Shiels continued her good form and she clocked 23.21. Sharon Black finished in 32.05. Four young LAC runners had excellent runs and showed up well in the Junior categories. Emmanuel Aedogun’s time was 24.13, Joseph Aedogun’s was 25.44, Anna Boyle’s was 28.36 and Kelsey McGrory’s was 29.17. The race winner was Convoy AC’s James Donaghy, whose time was 19.26.
