Housing crisis on the agenda of public meeting in Donegal

The Donegal Homeless & Housing Coalition have organised a public meeting tonight to explore current local and national housing issues.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday 19th September at 7:30pm in the Letterkenny Community Centre.


The event is expected to cover the housing crisis on a national level, the housing situation in Northern Ireland, as well focusing on Donegal. People will be encouraged to attend and raise their own issues regarding housing.

On the panel will be:

Micheal Cholm Macgiollaeasbuig – Donegal County Council
Gary Donnelly- Derry & Strabane District Council
Finn O Donnell – DHHC Member
Alan Mc Menamin – Respond Housing

Allie Gallagher, a founding member of the coalition said: ”We welcome everyone to this event. We will not just be discussing the housing crisis. Myself, the main speakers, representatives and other activists will be there to help with any housing issues you may have.”
