Letterkenny woman Una Black has just been given a huge vote of confidence.

Una, a client of Karen Gorman Speech and Drama, is to star in a new television advert on the importance of casting your ballot.

Una was selected from a national search of talent with filming taking place this week.

Karen said she’s not surprised at all after Una was chosen.

“We are absolutely thrilled but not at all surprised that Una has been successful! She is an absolute lady with incredible style and such a chic presence. Her audition piece greatly impressed the casting director,” she said.

Una’s grandson Caolan, son of Andrea and Paul Kelly is also student ay Karen’s school.

He has seen great success to date, his latest being shortlisted last summer for an RTE series. Previously he was one of a small number of boys selected to audition for Avatar the Sequel.

She added “Talent and great screen presence certainly run in the family! It’s wonderful news, we can’t wait to see the finished item”
