IT ACTUALLY COULDN’T have been any closer at Pearse Park this afternoon.

Almost six minutes into injury time, Bundoran, who were six down and then five up, were level with Ardara and on their way out of the Donegal SFC. Francie Martin’s team needed a three-point win to overhaul Ardara and it didn’t look good.

However, enter Tommy Hourihane with the most dramatic of late goals and Bundoran had won by three points, 2-12 to 4-3.
