World Handball Champion Avril McNamee visited Scoil Mhuire Gan Smal in Letterkenny today.
McNamee won the Female Singles 4-Wall (Small Ball) B title after a 21-0 21-2 win over Kildare woman Ellen O’Connor.
The Championships were held in Minnesota.
McNamee also beat Julie Creemers and Linda Connolly on her way to winning the title.
The Sean MacCumhaills woman was in Scoil Mhuire Gan Smál to coach the pupils the skills of her sport.
