Martin Harley rides 33/1 winner at Newmarket

Martin Harley had a 33/1 winner at Newmarket this afternoon.

The Trentagh man rode Skardu to victory in the Derrinstown British EBF Maiden Stakes, the 4.10 race.

It was an impressive win for Harley aboard the William Haggas-trained two-year-old.

Harley and Skardu had two lengths to spare on Charlie Appleby’s 15/8 favourite, Velorum.
