Arrangements confirmed as Intermediate Inter-Pros to take place in Donegal next weekend

The times and venues for next weekend’s FAI Intermediate Inter-League (Michael Ward) Tournament have been finalised.

This year, the tournament is being hosted by the Ulster Senior League.

Anthony Gorman once again has charge of the Ulster Senior League selection,.

Gorman’s USL side begin their weekend when they face Munster Senior League at the Diamond Park in Ballyare on Friday evening.

On Saturday, the USL team take on Connacht FA in Maginn Park and conclude the tournament when they come up against the reigning holders Leinster Senior League at Dry Arch Park in Bonagee. 

Last year, the USL just missed out, having been pipped by Leinster.

The Ulster Senior League have won the competition three times – in 1998, 2013 and 2014.

FAI Intermediate Inter-League (Michael Ward) Tournament 

Friday, October 5, 7.45pm

Leinster Senior League v Connacht FA at Dry Arch Park 

Ulster Senior League v Munster Senior League at Diamond Park, Ballyare

Saturday, October 6, 2pm

Connacht FC v Ulster Senior League at Maginn Park

Munster Senior League v Leinster Senior League at Charlie O’Donnell Sports Grounds

Sunday, October 7, 11am

Leinster Senior League v Ulster Senior League at Dry Arch Park

Munster Senior League v Connacht FC at Leckview Park
