Honeypot Coffee House in Letterkenny has won the overall prize in the JCI Donegal Friendly Business Awards 2018.

The cafe team triumphed at the JCI Donegal Friendly Business Awards in Radisson Blu Hotel Letterkenny on September 22nd.

Since opening on the High Road in 2016, Honeypot Coffee House has become well-known for its quality food, service, convenience and value for money.

Emma Boylan, JCI Donegal President and MC said the JCI awards are about “highlighting businesses that make the extra effort to be as friendly as possible to their customers.”

Over 60 excellent businesses were nominated this year, with the category winners below:

  • Century Complex won the Disability Access category sponsored by ShopLK

JCI Donegal Members, Winners and Sponsors

The seven winners will now go forward to represent JCI Donegal in the All-Ireland final in Galway in October.

“The JCI Friendly Business Awards recognise the important role that local businesses play in the continuous development and improvement of our country,” a spokesperson said.

“The project aims to award friendly businesses, ones that go that extra mile and provide outstanding customer service for their customers and their community. It is particularly important in this economic environment to highlight businesses that don’t allow their standards to slip and continue to provide quality services.”

“JCI Donegal are a voluntary organisation and we appreciate the support from local businesses and banks in sponsoring our awards – Kelly’s Diner, Honeypot Coffee House, ShopLK, AIB, Peadar Jim’s Property Maintenance, Format Computers, CBM Signs and Bank of Ireland.”
