Ulster Senior League heavyweights Letterkenny Rovers and Cockhill Celtic have been paired together in the second round draw of the FAI New Balance Intermediate Cup.

2016 finalists Letterkenny will have home advantage for the October 21 tie against their old rivals and reigning USL champions Cockhill.

On Sunday, Cockhill defeated Fanad United 4-1 in their opening Intermediate Cup game.

Cockhill boss Gavin Cullen has stated his aim of making a breakthrough at Intermediate Cup level, having dominated the local scene over the last six seasons.

But, first, they must navigate their big foes.

in the other game, Bonagee United have been drawn at home to Swilly Rovers.
