Staff from an Post have been invited to join the Letterkenny parkrun 5k at Letterkenny Town Park this weekend.
To mark the occasion, the parkrun organisers have issued a 1st Class invitation that’s a must-read for all pun fans:
As part of the monthly Workplace Invitation package to various employment sectors, this Saturday October 6th an invitation has been delivered to An Post to join the regulars at Letterkenny Parkrun.
A free-to-enter 5k has been parcelled along with free parking.
The envelope for free parking extends from 08.30 until 11.00 hours.
It is hoped this message will be fast-tracked to all An Post staff.
There will be counter staff at the finish and the only pension that may be required is a voluntary contribution towards the cost of Tea and Coffee.
Where possible we would ask An Post staff to abide by our invitation letter and register online in advance.
Unfortunately there are no specific collection points but if a lift can be arranged with others good savings will be made which can be deposited with An Post.
Letterkenny Parkrun is open to walkers, joggers and runners.
