Man charged with cultivating and selling cannabis

A Buncrana-based man has been charged with possession of cannabis for purpose of selling and the cultivation of cannabis plants.

Przemyslaw Gorski (40), with an address given at 25 Elm Park, appeared before Buncrana District Court.

Judge Paul Kelly heard that the accused had been arrested and charged with drug offences early that morning. He made no reply to his caution, the court heard.

The accused is charged with possession of cannabis for purpose of selling, and the cultivation of cannabis plants at Elm Park on February 8, 2018.

Superintendent Eugene McGovern told the court that the Director of Public Prosecution’s direction was to send the accused forward for trial on indictment.

Remanding the accused on continuing bail in his own bond of €250, Judge Kelly adjourned the case to October 23 for service of the book of evidence.
