Gardai are investigating the theft of two more engines from boats.

The latest thefts involved the robbery of two Honda outboard engines which were taken from Port Inver Pier.

The engines were only noticed missing by their owners yesterday but may have been taken in recent days.

There have been a number of thefts of boat engines in recent months.

Gardai have appealed for anybody with any information on the thefts to contact them.
