Donegal LGFA Development squad begins training after trial process

Following on from the Donegal LGFA Regional Development training the five regional teams attended two county blitzes days in the Donegal Training Centre in Convoy.

This year it was an extremely difficult task in selecting a County Development Squad, there were so many quality players who attended regional trial/training & the County blitz days, but with the help of many club coaches who took part in the regions & the blitz days we have selected the squad to attend the Ulster Ladies Blitz in Cookstown on the 20th of October.

A huge thanks has to go to the clubs for the use of their facilities for the trials & training.

The club coaches, parents & especially to all the players who took part in this pilot programme this year, great work has been done at the regional training & we hope it can feed back to club level.

The first training session is taking place this morning in the Donegal Training Centre (DTC) Convoy.
