Met Éireann has officially issued a warning for the third named storm of the season which is expected to bring severe winds of up to 130km/h to the north west.
The west coast of Ireland will be worst-hit by Storm Callum. A Status Orange Wind Warning has been issued for Donegal, Galway, Mayo, Sligo, Clare and Kerry. The alert is in place from Thursday at 10pm until Friday midday.
Winds will be strongest overnight and early on Friday, gusting between 110 and 130 km/h at coasts.
Wind Warnings have been issued for Storm Callum for Thursday night and Friday morning.
Orange level for coastal counties, Yellow level inland.

Strong winds, coinciding with high spring tides will affect Ireland with lashings of wet and windy conditions.
A Status Orange warning, which was used for Storm Ali, is issued to warn the public to take action to protect themselves and their property before the extreme weather.
Callum will come after an unseasonably warm day today. Temperatures are expected to reach up to 20C this Wednesday, with cloud, sunny spell, and rain forecast.
