Seosamh MacCeallabhuí didn’t have to say anything to his Red Hughs side at half-time in the Junior A final win over Urris.

Leading by 11 points (2-8 to 0-3) at the break, Red Hughs were on their way to glory by that stage.

“They’re 37 years without any class of a Championship win,” MacCeallabhuí said after the win.

“There was nothing I could say. The fact they have left so many behind them – that was the only message.

“It’s just brilliant for them to have it over and done with.  They worked really hard and got what they deserved.”
