Stephen McMenamin said it was a case of all or nothing for Red Hughs in 2018.

The Monellan outfit sealed the Junior A title thanks to a 4-9 to 0-5 win over Urris at O’Donnell Park.

It adds to McMenamin’s collection from this year having already won an Ulster SFC and Dr McKenna Cup title with Donegal this year.

“This is what we had in focus – this was number one,” McMenamin said after playing a lead role in the triumph.

“We couldn’t leave this behind. We weren’t going to let it happen this time. We knew we came up short last year. It was this or nothing. We knew we had to give it everything and we did.”
