The houses will be built in the Killylastin area if the company gets the green light from Donegal County Council.

The new housing estate will be connected to the current Glean Rua estate using an extension of its public sewer and other associated connections.

The application, which was lodged on October 1st last is a further indicator of confidence in the local housing market.

More than 200 homes are currently being built in the Crievesmith area near Oldtown.
