Martin Harley edged to his latest victory aboard The Olympian at Newmarket this afternoon.
The Trentagh jockey won the Aptus Investment Fund Maiden Stakes over one mile and two furlongs.
Under intense pressure from the 13/8 favourite, Travel On, with Frankie Detorri in the saddle, Harley and The Olympian held on.,
Having nosed in front, Harley and the Alan King-trained two-year-old had just a neck to spare at the finish.
It was a case of third time lucky for Harley and The Olympian, having been second at both Windsor and Goodwood in recent times.
The win takes Harley up to 73 for 2018.
