St Eunan’s College booked a place in the Rannafast Cup quarter-finals thanks to an excellent nine-point win over St Michael’s, Enniskillen yesterday.

Second-half goals by Shane Monaghan and David Boyle gave St Eunan’s a win that puts them into the last eight of the competition, played at under-16-and-a-half age grade.
This is the first year this side has been playing in an ‘A’ competition and their win yesterday came in spite of a host of absentees.
Their Termon contingent were left out of the starting XV with Termon’s Ulster U16 clash with Newtownbutler in mind. Jack Alcorn, Conor Cassidy and Brian McGettigan did make late appearances as subs, with Alcorn on the mark with a point.
Naomh Colmcille’s Monaghan – a nephew of former Donegal forward Brendan Devenney – and St Eunan’s man Boyle netted the goals to seal a fine win for the David O’Herlihy-managed Eunan’s, who led 0-4 to 0-2 at half-time.
The quarter-final will be played on the week beginning November 12 with their opposition still to be confirmed.
