The main Lifford to Raphoe Road has been reopened to traffic following a collision this morning.

The collision occurred between two HGVs at a bend in the road at Ballindrait.

Emergency services have now cleared the road and traffic is flowing as normal this afternoon.

Elsewhere, motorists in Letterkenny are being advised to expect delays as traffic is heavy in the town today.

The LYIT graduations are taking place in the Letterkenny campus on Port Road. As a result, traffic is slow at times throughout the day on the Pearse Road, Neil T Blaney Road and Port Road.
