There was Donegal delight in Ruislip yesterday as Tir Chonaill Gaels overcame Fulham Irish in the London SFC final replay.

After a drawn game last week, when Tir Chonaill Gaels let a three-point lead slip in added time, it was tense again, but the Greenford residents prevailed 0-15 to 0-13.

London-born players Liam Gavaghan, Killian Butler and Ryan Elliott, scored a combined fourteen points.

2012 Donegal All-Ireland winner Adrian Hanlon and Termon midfielder Brendan Friel lined out for Tir Chonaill Gaels in yesterday’s final.

They now progress to a Connacht quarter-final against Roscommon champions Clann na nGael at Dr Hyde Park on Sunday.

Yesterday’s final win saw Tir Chonaill Gaels collect the prize for a record 17th time.
