Freezing conditions on Halloween night have led to some frost and ice lingering on roads in Donegal this Thursday morning.
Donegal County Council gritters were out on all major routes at 6am this morning. However, drivers are being urged to take extreme care on all roads.
Gardaí have warned that the roads around Milford, Ramelton and Kilmacrenan are particularly slippy.
AA Roadwatch is also reminding drivers that fog is lingering in certain parts, adding: “If the fog on your route has lifted, remember to switch your fog lights back off so you don’t dazzle other road users. “
