Gardai are still hunting for the killer of a Polish man in Letterkenny – a year after he was found with critical injuries at the bottom of his stairs.

Gardai in Letterkenny initially thought that 36-year-old Sebastian Adamowicz had fallen down his stairs at his home he shared with friends at Sylvian Pa

rk.

But state pathologist Marie Cassidy carried out a post-mortem on his body after he died the day after he was found with his injuries.

The Garda investigation, led by Garda Inspector Pat O’Donnell, was then declared a murder and a full probe was launched.

A year after Sebastian’s death, nobody has yet bee charged in connection with the incident.

Gardai put posters in both English and Polish around Letterkenny appealing for anybody with any information to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 0749167100.
