Over seventy people left the start line for Letterkenny Parkrun which took place in ideal conditions for walking, jogging or running.
Anyone looking out their window this morning would have been forgiven for thinking it was a terrible day, but once out in it, they would have quickly realised that the temperature was a lovely 13 degrees.
A light spray of rain meant that conditions were balmy for the 74 that took part.
Many thanks to the staff of Donegal Council who attended Letterkenny Parkrun as part of the ‘Workplace Invitation’ initiative that has proved to be very popular with the various workplaces that participated since its commencement last July.
First to cross the finish line was Aaron Nepgen with John Wilson second and John Connaghan third.
Open to walkers, runners and joggers, the Letterkenny Parkrun is free to enter with a 5k held every Saturday at 9.30am in St. Conal’s Complex, Kilmacrennan Road.
