Gardai and the emergency services are at the scene of a car crash in the Oldtown area of Letterkenny.
Just one car is believed to be involved in the crash which occurred around 4.15pm.
A black Toyota car went off the road and ended up in a field.
At least one person is understood to have sustained injuries.
Motorists are being advised to avoid the area for the moment.
