Malin will be under new management for the 2019 season, the club has confirmed.

Robert Farren was ratified on Sunday evening at the Malin AGM at Connolly Park. Shane McCarron will be working alongside Farren and the duo will also oversee the club’s senior reserve team.

Malin were relegated to Division 3 following a dramatic end to the Division 2 season, the Inishowen outfit falling on the last night of the campaign.

Darren has managed Buncrana and Moville, but now has the reigns of his home club, succeeding Terence Colhoun.

Farren had previously been involved at underage level with Donegal teams working with Declan Bonner.

“The club are delighted to announce the appointment of the senior and reserve team

management for the incoming season,” the club said.

“The club wish them and their backroom team every success in the year ahead.”
