Niall O’Donnell says St Eunan’s U21 final win over Glenfin can act as a springboard for senior success at O’Donnell Park.

The St Eunan’s captain hit 1-8 as they overcame Glenfin 5-11 to 1-8 on a day when Niall Hannigan bagged three goals in the first eight minutes.

“We have a really talented bunch and we knuckled down this year…weknew we had a chance,” O’Donnell said.

“This is a bit of life for the senior team. It will give them a bit of hope too. It blends you in for the seniors. There are six or seven seniors there helping out and this will benefit the seniors. This can build for a good team in the future.”
