Kevin Sharkey donates €5,200 painting to Breast Cancer Charity Ball

Donegal painter Kevin Sharkey has donated a painting valued at €5,200 for auction at the upcoming North West Breast Cancer Charity Ball.

The painting, titled Friends Forever will be auctioned at this year’s ball to raise funds to support research into breast cancer taking place at Letterkenny University Hospital.

Funds raised at the ball also support an outreach programme for patients following treatment for breast cancer and other patient comfort items.

Excitement is building for the North West Breast Cancer Charity Ball, taking place in The Silver Tassie Hotel on 30th November.

The organising committee was delighted to receive the donation from Mr Sharkey and have expressed their thanks for his generosity.

Due to public interest, the charity ball committee has decided to seek commission bids for this impressive piece of work.

Tickets to the North West Breast Cancer Charity Ball are €50 and can be bought at The Silver Tassie Hotel, Liberty Travel and Stateside American Restaurant.
