Liam Walsh says Letterkenny Institute of Technology have to stay grounded in spite of their recent impressive results.

A 6-1 win over NWRC at the Port Road yesterday sealed qualification for the CUFL League quarter-finals, while Shane Byrne’s team have already booked a place in the Rustlers Cup quarter-finals.

“Hopefully we can push on now,” Walsh, who scored twice in the lop-sided win, said.

“It’s still early doors yet but we’re in the quarter-finals of the League and Cup. We need to stay grounded. We’ll have a lot more tough competition from now on.

“You have to keep pushing on and stay on top. We’ll be looking to win both competitions.”
