Anne-Marie McGlynn secures Silver at National Cross-Country Championships

Donegal athletes had a fantastic day at the National Senior and Junior Cross-Country Championships took place in Abbotstown in Dublin on Sunday. 

Anne-Marie McGlynn of Letterkenny AC secured a National Silver Medal in the Senior Women’s race.

McGlynn’s victory has also guaranteed her a place on the Irish team for the European Cross-Country Championships.

Anne-Marie McGlynn, Teresa Doherty of Finn Valley and Letterkenny AC duo Nakita Burke and Caitriona Jennings also ran superbly in the Inter-County event.

Members of the Letterkenny’s AC club also ran a great race in the inter-clubs competition, winning the silver medal.
