Watch: Donegal’s best places celebrated as ‘must see’ tourist attractions

Some of the most stunning parts of Donegal are being broadcast to international tourists in a new Tourism Ireland campaign.

The breath-taking beauty of Slieve League, otherworldy Malin Head, gorgeous Glenveagh and the picturesque Fanad Lighthouse feature in the Northern Headlands film for the Wild Atlantic Way.

Tourism Ireland has created this new suite of online films to highlight some of the many attractions and stunning scenery international visitors can enjoy along the Wild Atlantic Way.

One main video showcases the entire length of the Wild Atlantic Way, as well as six individual videos that highlight each region from Donegal to West Cork – so that prospective visitors can start to pinpoint their ‘must see’ attractions for their holiday here.

The aim of this suite of videos is to help inform prospective visitors about what they can experience, wherever they decide to stay.

The films are being promoted through Tourism Ireland’s social platforms, including Facebook (more than 4.3 million fans worldwide), Twitter (504,000 followers) and YouTube.
